Tony Sherin as a happy, smiling, enthusiastic child

Anthony Sherin has been a filmmaker for over twenty years.

After college and a two-year stint in publishing, Anthony made a short film and immediately dropped books for moving images. He left his hometown of New York for Los Angeles and trained with several Academy Award winning film editors. His first mentor, Edward Biery, was assistant editor on CITIZEN KANE. Anthony worked on films directed by Oliver Stone, Andrei Konchalovsky, Roland Joffé, Barbet Schroeder, and Edward Zwick.

Anthony is an accomplished film editor whose credits include THE CURE (Universal), A SOLDIER’S SWEETHEART (Paramount/Showtime), GETTING TO KNOW YOU (ShadowCatcher), FIRST TIME FELON (HBO), FLESH AND BONE (Paramount).

Anthony returned to New York to make his own films. In 2009, his award-winning documentary, ORIGINAL INTENT: The Battle for America, aired on PBS. In 2010, Anthony completed a film commissioned for New York’s Fahnestock and Hudson Highlands State Parks.
